Game, Set, Match

I am fully aware that this blog is called Camille Ann Photography. The purpose is to post my photography, but occasionally you are going to have to deal with a little sprinkling of my personal life. Get over it and enjoy! And just an advanced warning, none of the pictures below are by me.

I love tennis! I talk about it like I'm a fabulous player, when in reality, I've never really played a match, or set, or game for that matter. I've volleyed with my cousin on occasion but we only do it until we don't want to chase the tennis balls anymore. I just love watching it. Really, I only enjoy watching the men's side of it. Yes, I am a female and thoroughly enjoy watching athletically built men play tennis, but really they are just more entertaining to watch. With all of this said, I just enjoyed a full Saturday in Indian Wells entertained by these said men. Seriously, this is one of my favorite Saturday's of the year. This is the 3rd year my sister Rachel and I have attended the BNP Paribas Open, which is the 5th largest tennis tournament in the world. It is fabulous, and here is why:

  • The warmth of the desert is glorious, especially after many weekends of rain
  • The frozen lemonade is to DIE for. I would gladly pay a large amount of money to sip on one. And I do.
  • Great people-watching. Go to Rachel's blog to read some funny stories about what we saw throughout the day.
  • Foreigners come from everywhere for this tournament. It's so fun trying to figure out where they are from.
  • I got to see him play

  • And him

  • And him

  • And him

It was a winner Saturday. So if you are at all interested in tennis, let me know and you can join us next March. And if you aren't a fan of tennis, join us anyway just for the frozen lemonade. Totally worth it.
